Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Litter Box Picks ("we," "us") handles information when you visit litterboxpicks.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
We don't ask you for personal information. The Site has no accounts, comment sections, sign-up forms or checkout.
Server and security logs. Like almost every website, the Site is served by a hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare Pages). That provider may automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and timestamps, to deliver the Site and protect it against abuse. We don't use this data to identify you.
Analytics. The Site doesn't currently use analytics or tracking scripts.
If you email us. If you contact us by email, we'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Cookies
The Site doesn't set its own cookies.
Affiliate links. When you click a link marked "paid link" and leave the Site for a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer (or its affiliate network) may place cookies on your browser to record that you arrived from our Site. That lets them credit us with a commission if you buy. These cookies are set by the third party under its own privacy policy, not ours. They may include:
- Amazon (Amazon Associates program). See Amazon's privacy notice on Amazon.com.
- Other retailers or affiliate networks we may link to, such as PetSafe (via Partnerize), Chewy (via Impact) or Whisker.
Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on your browser when you interact with their links or content.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies won't stop the Site from working.
- You can visit retailers directly instead of using our links.
- To opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies, you can use industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page (optout.networkadvertising.org).
Children
The Site is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we collect so little, this usually only applies to emails you've sent us. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the "Last updated" date above.
